Always love coming here when in town. So many items to look at (mens, woman’s, kids). Love the variety of brands, specifically Quiksilver. Really cool t shirt designs. They often have big sales but prices are still decent if not. Employees are good and store is organized well. Definitely visit if passing by. It’s right next to the Pier.

Hands down the BEST place for Vans – anywhere! Jack’s Surf Shop is an absolute gem, especially if you’re a Vans fan. I’ve been to a lot of sneaker and surf shops over the years, but none come close to the selection Jack’s carries. We’re talking walls stacked with every style, color, and limited edition drop you can imagine. They display left foots and for industry standards that is non traditional. Much appreciated for that quirk! Whether you’re after the classic Old Skools, slip-ons, or something more niche and rare, Jack’s has it all. The staff is super knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about the brands they carry. I’ve had great conversations with a few of them about new Vans collabs and skate culture. They don’t just sell the shoes — they live the lifestyle. If you’re serious about Vans, this place should be on your must-visit list. Don’t waste your time hunting online — go to Jack’s and see the best Vans collection in person. It’s unbeatable.

Had an amazing experience buying a new board at Jack's. Was lucky to link up with Alan at the store who was super helpful in answering all my questions - and I had a lot of them. We spent roughly an hour or more looking at various boards I had been researching online. He took the time to walk me through the differences of each and ultimately helped guide my decision to the board that was right for me. I had spent months looking around online but honestly nothing can substitute talking to an expert in person. I ended up getting a red Lost RNF 5'11" with future fins and couldn't be happier. Can't wait to take it out for a ride. Big shout out to Alan for his help, SERIOUSLY employee of the year! Cheers!

We walked in to the store purely to just gain some knowledge to buy the right wetsuit when we returned to Santa Cruz. However Owen was so knowledgeable and helpful we bought my suit there…. With booties and a couple of sweatshirts for the grand kids. Jack’s is lucky to have a salesperson like Owen; we never received this type of knowledgeable, friendly service at the many surf shops in Santa Cruz….. even though we were the first Surf City USA!!! 😁
